Full Details

The properties occupy a delightful rural location offering peace, quiet and space, but at the same time being only 10 mins from all amenities and 40 mins from several wonderful sandy beaches. Although no pool, there is the river Charente 200 m down a grassy track with a small pebble beach for easy access for swimming, canoeing (we have one here you can use) or fishing. (we have rods) There are three cottages offering different types of accommodation, but all bright sunny and airy with high ceilings and exposed beams. There are mature trees and space between each offering shade and privacy where wanted. There is a very large garden and adjoining field which is wonderful for children, large or small, to amuse themselves, play, pitch tents etc. or for you to choose a shady (or sunny) nook to sit and contemplate. English French-speaker on-site all year round.
